Solar Water Plc’s CEO, David Reavley was invited to speak at ACEF 2019 by the Asian Development Bank, one of the main sponsors of the event. Held at the headquarters of the ADB in Manila, ACEF is one of the leading clean energy events in the Asia region, focusing on bringing together a diverse community of practitioners and implementers to identify, discuss and address the key clean energy challenges we face in the region.
In a speech that covered the world’s biggest problem of fresh water shortage, David presented the Solar WaterTM solution to a large crowd of senior delegates consisting of financial institutions, investors, non-profits, government departments, entrepreneurs and academics.
We are pleased to report that the Asian Development Bank is now supporting Solar Water Plc with two of its projects, led by our representative in Manila, Klas Lundgren.
This is just one example of how Solar Water Plc is cooperating in different regions of the world.
Klas is the Founder and CEO of the business consultancy company Xeric AB from Sweden. Along with 30 former telecom businessmen from Ericsson, he founded the company in 2011. Since 2013 Mr Lundgren has headed up Xeric in Southeast Asia.
Klas is deeply involved in Sustainable Urban Development in Asia, particularly the Philippines and so we are very excited to have him working with us.
